OH MY GOD ADAM LAMBERT IS NOT “REPLACING” FREDDIE.

His quotes were about a previous performance with Queen, and he may be performing ONE show with them this summer.

GET YOUR FUCKING FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE COMPLAINING.

(8:11pm)
ganarselavida-vivirla asked: Sam, is it true that Adam Lambert is the new Queen vocalist and that he's going on tour with them? Please say no.

No it’s not. Several music magazines such as Rolling Stone published an article about it using a tabloid (The Daily Star) as its source and ever since then people have been freaking out about absolutely nothing.

NOTHING has been confirmed at this point. Queen may be performing one show with Adam Lambert this summer (Sonisphere Festival). But there are NO talks of him becoming the new lead singer (and in my opinion I don’t think it would ever happen)

These are Adam’s tweets about the whole thing:

“Oooh them clever reporters takin my quotes outta context…. I haven’t confirmed any guest appearances. I was talking about the EMA’S. :)”

That being said, I’m truly flattered by your jump to such glorious conclusions mr journalist!! :)”

“Freddie wrote Bohemian Rhapsody when he found out he had AIDS.”

No, he didn’t. He wrote Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975, before AIDS was a known disease.

“Freddie wrote The Show Must Go On when he found out he had AIDS.”

No, he didn’t. It was written by Brian May.

“Freddie wrote Who Wants to Live Forever when he found out he had AIDS.”

No, he didn’t. It was written by Brian May for the movie Highlander.

“Freddie wrote These are the Days of Our Lives when he found out he had AIDS.”

No, he didn’t. It was written by Roger Taylor.

“Freddie wrote Too Much Love Will Kill You when he found out he had AIDS.”

No, he didn’t. It was written by Brian May, Elizabeth Lamers and Frank Musker.

“Freddie wrote ______ when he found out he had AIDS.”

STOP.
